"JST is up, running and open for business!"

JST continues to not incur any ill effects from the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that struck northeast Japan last month. We wish to emphasize this and also wish to extend any help JST can by offering product substitutions for connectors produced by other connector companies with plants in the effected region of Japan. We are aware of two such connector companies that have sustained significant damage resulting in extended delivery lead-times.

Should anyone have any such concerns and wish JST to assist you in cross referencing to the nearest JST alternate product, please feel free to contact your local JST Sales Engineer or the Regional Sales Manager in your area directly to discuss further.

Reminder:
JST Sales America wishes to make you aware of Japan’s “Golden Week” holidays starting Friday, April 29th through Friday May 6th. During this period, JST Japan’s Japanese factories and facilities will be closed. JST Sales America will be open, but will not be able to communicate with any of these Japanese facilities until Monday, May 9th, 2011.

JST wants to assure all customers there are zero concerns about radiation contamination to any of its products now being produced by any of the 9 manufacturing plants in Japan. JST is working with all suppliers to assure
all materials are free of any radiation contamination.
